The Mangatainoka School Board of Trustees reaffirms its unwavering commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

While recent changes to the Education and Training Act by the current Government have removed the explicit legal requirement to 'give effect' to the Treaty, our commitment is founded on a moral imperative to ensure Partnership, Participation, and Protection for our Māori students, whānau, and community.

This commitment remains a core principle of our governance and will continue to be reflected in our policies, curriculum, and aspiration for equitable outcomes for all learners.

Mangatainoka School is hosting a Quiz Night on Saturday, August 9th!
We're talking:
* Epic costumes: Dig out your 'chur'est get-up for a chance to nab a spot prize!
* Loose change welcome: Search those couch cushions for some extra coin – you might just buy yourself an answer or two! 😉
* Feed ya brain: Pre-order a platter from Hungry Giraffe so you're not running on fumes!
* Good vibes & fun juice: BYO, you know the drill!

It's just $60 per team (max 4 legends), and you could score a sweet $200 cash! 💰

PLUS! We'll be running a bit of an auction on the night with some fantastic goodies up for grabs. So bring along your bidding paddle (or just your arm!) and nab yourself a bargain while supporting the school!

Kick off is at 7 PM, so don't be late! This is gonna be a classic night of yarns, a few laughs, and a chance to prove you're the cleverest buggers in the district.

An exciting day for us all here at school today!

A new roll-growth classroom arrived on the back of a truck at Mangatainoka School this week.
