It was really special to spend time with mātua Trevor and mātua Richard at Sanctuary Community Organic Garden, discussing the present, the future, and how the legacy of such a treasured space might be continued. Richard Main (left) is the founder of Gardens4Health, and one of the founders of the Sanctuary Garden. So much wisdom and experience held by these two! We are very proud to be learning from them 🌱🌿🌳

This afternoon Richard Main (one of the Sanctuary founders) and Ali (Gardens4Health) came to the Sanctuary Mahi Whenua. With Trevor they discussed opportunities for propagating some of the plants at the Sanctuary, especially those of special provenance and those in the food forest.
