Last night our quick coders team went to the prize giving for the Whakatane region young enterprise teams. We are so pleased to tell everyone that our team not only won an innovation award but also was the overall winner for our region. This means we will be heading to nationals in Wellington!

Thanks to everyone who came along to the business and leisure and signed our sheet to help us in our competition, we have come second with your help winning our business $75. However we did not win the photo competition for an orbital sander, our thanks goes out to Placemakers for donating it to the young enterprise scheme.

September is Alzheimers Awareness Month and throughout NZ there are many Memory Walks being held

Whakatane is holding their walk on Sunday 18th September 2pm
(starting at the Ampitheatre on Warren Cole Walkway) to raise awareness of this debilitating disease, honour those who are the caregivers and most all remember those who are affected by it
