WPS Parents & Co Waiheke Primary School Parents & Co. encourages parent involvement in all aspects of the school comm

All parents and caregivers of children attending WPS are automatically members of Parents & Co. and are encouraged to attend meetings, join the committee and generally support its initiatives. A massive thank you to the unsung heroes of Carnival:

Waiheke RSA, Mora Hall, Rotary Club of Waiheke Island, Waiheke Surf Club and Onetangi Residents Association - thank you for lending tables and gazebos. It seems a small thing, but without your support we couldn't have had our stalls.

Waiheke Documents & Security you guys were our piece of mind - thank you for being there to support with cash handling and security throughout the day. You are pillars of our (thankfully mostly well behaved) community!

🚘Hauraki Traffic Services - thank you for proving signage and being so happy to help.

Waiheke Volunteer Fire Brigade🚒 thank you for providing the fire truck and hose and staffing the waterslide all day - the kids loved it :-)

Massive thank you Auckland Council for the zero waste grant! This enabled us to engage the fabulous team from Waiheke Resources Trust & Sustainability Centre to help us deliver a zero waste Carnival!

92% of our Carnival waste was diverted from landfill and we have learnt so much about what we can do next year to make this 100%
