Soul 2 Soul offers a meaningful learning experience for personal development that encourages individual and team growth through experiential learning with a unique twist. Horses by nature require trust, respect and teamwork from all members of the team and provide us with non judgemental, honest and instant feedback. The role of the facilitator, together with the horse, is to guide the group through each team building program, allowing participants to experience their own journey through the tasks within a fun and engaging team environment. Working with horses can lead to the opportunity to experience light bulb moments of self discovery but their real gift to us is the heartwarming feeling we get when 2 Souls truly connect.

Morehu and Piki also braved the weather , mud and horse hair .
It must be spring !
They teamed up with Celti today for their session Starting the Journey Take 2.
They experienced working with a different personality and played around with what adjustments they needed to make so they could all get along and understand each other.
The girls practiced doing something that worried them abit by slowing down and taking small steps that they can then build on to help grow their confidence and self esteem.
All of this helped build a relationship firstly with themselves and then their team mates and teacher.

Gemma and Jane braved the weather today for their session Starting the Journey take 2.
This time they teamed up wth Obee for the opportunity to work with a different personality.
They recognized the difference in Obee from Dusty and adjusted their energy and body language accordingly.
This really cemented their knowledge of self and of others so that they could work as a team through the tasks today.
They were able to push their comfort zones by slowing down and regulating their nervous system through breathe work which helped their confidence and relationship with Obee.
These are awesome skills to carry forward into their everyday lifes and relationships.

Morehu and Pikitearoha teamed up with Dusty for their session Starting the Journey.
They spent some time getting to know each based on mutual trust and respect.
The girls worked on their self awareness and team work by supporting each other in the tasks today .
They also helped out with some farm chores including feeding Dusty ,Fonsie and Ritchie which was also a great way to keep warm on this windy old day.
It was awesome to see their confidence grow during the haltering task with lots of smiles and laughter along the way.
Well done Team Dusty.

Gemma and Jane worked with Dusty today in our program Starting the Journey.
They found Dusty was very good at communicating what she liked and didn't like through her body language .
This helped them build a relationship with her so they could work as a team.
The girls did an awesome job of communicating with Dusty through their body language, energy and intention which helped them with their own self awareness.

It was definitely Girl power today .
Morehu and Waipuna had their support crew with them today for their first session Orientation and of course Ninja was there to help as well.
The nerves soon disappeared as they learnt how to communicate with their teacher Obee.
Having the knowledge piece really helps everyone to feel safe.
Obee did a brilliant job helping everyone to ground by laying down and holding space for them all to help them regulate their nervous system .
By working as a team they found they could work through the tasks by supporting each other and have some fun and laughs along the way.

This is true for not only for humans but the horse as well , when we truly listen to each other and offer leadership ,trust,respect and communication then healthy relationships can flourish in all aspects of our lives .🦄🤵‍♀️

Sometimes, Confidence Begins With a Horse 🐴

There are moments that look simple from the outside, but carry the power to change a life.

A quiet connection.
A gentle touch.

No riding.
No performance.
No pressure.

Just the opportunity to feel safe, be present, and connect.

And then something shifts.

Fear begins to soften.
Confidence begins to grow.
The body relaxes.

This is what makes horses such powerful partners in transformation.

They don’t judge.
They don’t force.
They don’t need words.

They simply respond to what is real.

Sometimes, the greatest breakthrough isn’t a huge achievement.

It’s the courage to reach out, make a connection, and discover: “I can do this.”

One touch can become a turning point.

One moment of connection can open the door to a completely different relationship with ourselves.

Briar and Hazel spent some time pampering Obee and then practiced their ground work skills.
They love our new cards and drew some very poignant cards which really resonated with them.
On the way we had a pine cone hunt for their fire to help keep them cosy on this chilly day.

A big horsey welcome to Gemma and Jane who joined us for their first session Orientation with the handsome Celti .
The girls loved getting to know their teacher and learnt how to communicate with him by having the knowledge they needed to begin forming a relationship with him and each other so that they could work as a team and feel safe.
