Shout out to the combined schools team K.T.M Blasters! George, Sage & Jamie were in their first season and kept getting better! Only 1 lose and lots of wins. Amazing effort coaching to Miss Muldrew too! What a team!

Hope everyone is having a superb week, we're looking forward to some sun...
TOMORROW:
-Tōtara School Playgroup 9:30-11am ish. After a couple of weeks break, we are back to Playgroup time and keen for some pre-school visitors 🔴⚫️
-Daffadol Day - dress up in yellow to support those impacted by cancer. Not compulsory, uniform o.k. Charity donations accepted but not compulsory

Update time! We're nearly half way through the term and there has been lots to celebrate in the past couple of weeks!

Some highlights include Year 6 Clued Up Kids at the Rec Centre, a School Football Festival, Netball skills, Assembly, Archie + Noah at North Otago Cross Country and we are soooo proud of our Mathletics crew who placed very well at their event.

A huge welcome to Theo who started school today.
We hope you LOVE Te Kura o Tōtara!

Kia ora, few important notices:
-North Otago Cross Country is still on today (Archie and Noah :)
-Our Friends of Tōtara School meeting has moved from tomorrow to Wednesday 19th (the following week) due to Basketball and other clashes.
-Wednesday 5:15pm - Understanding Our Kids Online World presentation (bring children if need be but must be in another room)
-Assembly will now be Thursday 2pm, not Friday

Looking forward to hosting this next Wednesday!
I know it's cold, you don't want to go out in the dark and are busy but this is worth making time for!
Attendance is obviously optional but, as a parent myself, I'd say it's strongly advised :-)

At the halfway stage of the term break and with Matariki vibes in mind, thought it's good chance to reflect and remember what we got up to in the last few days of Term 2!
We hope everyone stayed safe and damage free in the past weeks of ALOT of rain!!! A few minor things to fix at school but thankfully we we're relatively unscathed.
