Week One Newsletter is attached,
Special Thanks to our Disco Organisers - Aleisha Little, Jessie Tomalin, Maraea Wesche, Caroline Richardson, Kerry Jane and Nicole Hogan!
Thank you also to Pearl, Marama, Kerry, Nicole and Harmony who joined us in the kitchen on the evening - such super helpers
Lana Taylor, Kristen McGregor and Denise Raroa - thank you so much for lending our school disco lights, and the fryers for cooking with!
We must also mention the amazing crew who all stayed and helped with the massive clean up effort! We are so grateful to have such a super team of supporters here at Nuhaka School!
So many people donated items to help our evening - Maraea and Jessie kindly donated the mince for our Nachos, Caroline donated the cost of our chip cups, Jessie donated the amazing glow battons, and thank you to all the people who pulled this event together!
Your hard work, amazing organising and brilliant vision gave our tamariki an amazing evening of fun, food, dancing and friendship! Friday night's disco was a brilliant success - we hope you all had a well deserved sleep in on Saturday morning!
There's lots happening in term 3, including clubs, exciting gardening projects and some fantastic learning topics in each of our classrooms.
This week we will draw the raffle for our CAR, and will GoLive when this takes place! We are just waiting for confirmation when our Police can join us and help to draw the raffle - then we will be all go!
