Birkenhead College Parents' Group

The BC Parents' Group loves being able to help our BC students do the things they do well. Thanks to all the people in our community who support our Parents' Group, so we can help to support the students at BC.

We don't have many meetings in a year, so don't miss your opportunity to come and say hi! We are a small group but a friendly one! We will be having a catch-up to plan our activities for this year which support our school community.

We are getting ready for our last bingo evening of 2025 at Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village. Thanks to all those who have donated prizes this year (here's looking at you New World Birkenhead) and to all our bingo participants. It's made a real difference to what we can give back to our school. Any donations for our final bingo night can be dropped at the school office. If you are at Bert Sutcliffe, sign up at the desk and come along on Saturday 15th November!

Last Saturday we had another fantastic evening of bingo and raffles at Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village . Thanks to all who came and made it a fun evening. Last week we had another fun night of Bingo and raffles at Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village. We really appreciate those families and individuals who donated items for our prizes and our wonderful local New World who donated a prize for the evening.

Toiletries, groceries, treat items, or unwanted gifts... All gratefully accepted. Help us put together an amazing raffle basket, raising funds for our BC students.

Our Bingo evenings at Bert Sutcliffe Retirement Village are great fun. They also raise valuable money that goes towards our school. Do your bit by donating an item to go in one of our raffle hampers. Just drop any items off to the school office!

Mrs Elliott asked the Parents' Group if we could help some of our BC readers by supplying a KOBO e-reader for the library. We were thrilled to be able to help and Mrs Elliott was even happier! This e-reader will benefit some of our students who might struggle to read an ordinary book. Support our BC Parents' Group and we can all support our school!

A fantastic atmosphere down at Birkdale North School at the Matariki Kapahaka Festival! Come on down!
