Nau mai, haere mai, from the Reading Whizz!
I'm Melissa and I am The Reading Whizz 🙂 I'm passionate about getting young children and young adults reading for PLEASURE. If you struggle with finding the right books for your children or students or getting them to sit down and actually read any content then contact me. I have years of experience as a teacher of English and then as a Curriculum reading services librarian. I know the triggers to get young people reading and actually enjoy it! I work with groups and you can chat with likeminded people and discuss the benefits of simply reading, for fun. I'll dispel the myths that a book needs to be read from cover to cover even if you hate it! And show you that books and content come in all shapes and there most definitely is something for everyone.
My rates are reasonable, I will build up a relationship and check in and provide you with all the resources you need for you and your young person to succeed.
