A little ice cream, a lot of kindness! 🍦💛
We had a very special visitor at Jumpstart Preschool on Rimu Street yesterday!

Mr. Whippy stopped by and generously treated each of our tamariki to a delicious ice cream, bringing plenty of excitement and smiles to our day.

But the sweetest part of our visit wasn't just the ice cream! His generosity sparked meaningful conversations about kindness, gratitude and what we can do when someone does something special for us.

Our tamariki decided to return the kindness by creating a special thank-you card and some sweet treats of their own for Mr. Whippy.

The excitement continued as the children created their very own ice cream paintings using colourful puff paint, recalling their special visitor and sharing their favourite moments from the day.

The day was about so much more than ice cream. It was about community, generosity, gratitude and belonging.

Experiences like these help our tamariki discover that kindness goes both ways and that Jumpstart is part of a wider community filled with people who care for and contribute to one another.

A huge thank you to Mr. Whippy for making our day so special! 💛

🏅 The Jumpstart School Commonwealth Games! 🌏

Our tamariki proudly represented countries from across the Commonwealth as they jumped, balanced, raced, threw and shot their way through a variety of sporting challenges.

Beyond all the action and excitement, the day was filled with opportunities to practise coordination, perseverance, teamwork and good sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, giving each event a go and celebrating their achievements together.

As the colourful ice began to melt, our tamariki watched the colours drip, swirl and mix together. With brushes, droppers and plenty of curiosity, this chilly experience became a wonderful invitation to explore, experiment and create.
