Regular gigs in Taranaki and Horowhenua supporting First Fires, our overnight event: full of mystery, connection, a sense of belonging, celebrating boyhood and manhood.

Ina comes carrying a kete rich with Rites of Passage experiences. For over a decade she has been deepening her knowledge, understanding, and lived experience within this realm.

As her path has unfolded, so too has her desire to hold space for other women to experience the transformative depth this work can offer.

With a quiet wisdom far beyond her years, Ina brings a grounding, gentle, and creatively fresh presence into every space she weaves within.

Wild-hearted, magnetic, and deeply embodied, Jessica weaves spaces where women are invited to shed the masks, reconnect with their truth, and honour every raw, beautiful stage of becoming. Blending somatic wisdom, movement, creativity, play, and deep presence, she brings a kind of grounded magic that is equal parts nurturing, expansive, and alive.

The gathering of women has been happening for centuries- throughout time and across cultures. And while women gathering in circle isn't unique, the particular weave that results from each circle is.
It’s the mix of all of us who step into that circle — our skills, our lived experience, our different ways of seeing and feeling — that creates the depth.

Each and every woman that has stepped forward to be part of the next Moon Weavers container is saying yes to bringing their own thread to this weaving- and we embrace and honour, all that you bring with you.

Speaking of warm embraces, meet Ganesha.
She has one of those presences that lets your body sink deeper into itself before you've even realised it.
Warm, open, easy to be around.
She brings humour and lightness into the space, but underneath that there’s a really steady, grounded energy that is very easy to trust and relax into.
It makes sense when you know her path — years spent walking alongside wāhine as a midwife, holding them through one of life’s biggest thresholds.
Not just birthing babies,
but witnessing women as they cross that rite of passage.

Over the coming days, we'll be introducing the women behind the scenes of the upcoming Moon Weavers : Transform Through The Women's Wheel of Life Retreat. These are the faces that will be warmly welcoming you to Waihōanga Riverside Lodge come June.

This group of wāhine are so much more than just facilitators.
They are women who have lived, crossed thresholds, unravelled and re-rooted themselves… and now hold space for others (YOU) to do the same.
