We want to make sure that important Lodge history is not lost with the passage of time.
A few years back, name plates were installed on the bunkroom doors to acknowledge 6 of the most significant contributors to the establishment and running of our Mt Aspiring Lodge program. The next stage is to have a signboard inside the bunkroom with a photo, details of what their contribution was, and a couple of good stories about them. The 6 are; Henry Stoddart, Bill Trewern, Magnus Sinclair, Peter Foster, Murray Oben, Richard Wilton.
Any contributions of stories (must be suitable for a General audience!) or even a good photo we could use would be appreciated – email [email protected]

Fifty years ago, the OBHS Mt Aspiring Lodge was under construction.
The purpose of this page is to keep FRIENDS OF THE LODGE up to date with planned developments and 50th anniversary celebrations (scheduled for late 2025).
