Today we had a real treat for the Junior school with the 'Cool Cat - Managing Anxiety Show'

A little about the show...

The Cool Cat – Managing Anxiety show is a 45-minute interactive mental wellbeing performance using storytelling, music, movement and puppets.

Through the show, tamariki learn to:

- recognise worry in their body, behaviour and thoughts
share their feelings
- use practical strategies to calm their body and brain
identify unhelpful thoughts and change them to helpful, positive thoughts (Cool Cat Thinking)

Congratulations on your selection, Harry.

Congratulations on your selection, Harry.

Congratulations to the following 22 players who make up this years Napier Ross shield squad🙌

Massive day for everyone this morning with a early start to the day hitting the road to Taupo to play our final trial game for the Napier Primary schools 2026.
Extremely proud of the 28 players and the effort them and their whanau have put in across the past few weeks!
It made this selection really tough for the coaching group and on more than one occasion it came down to the finer details.

For those players that didnt make the squad, Take this experience and use it to motivate the next phase in your journey as a rugby player! Be proud first of all for being good enough to have had this experience and secondly for the growth you all have shown throughout.
We hope you have all enjoyed the Napier Primary schools campaign and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

To the 22 named below, Tomorrow 4pm we hit the ground running with our preparation for tournament! Be prepared to work even harder... Making the squad was the easy part.
See you all tomorrow to go to work🫡🔥

Miharo!

Our cross-country event was a little damper than usual but that didn’t stop the competitors from giving their all. It was wonderful to see lots of whānau out in support as well.

Many thanks to Tim Bedingfield and Whaea Zara for their organisation and to the staff for their mahi as well.

Next up is the TACs event for our HQ tamariki and the inter school competition for our Year 3-6 representatives.
