Some of our team are at the inaugural Endangered Species National Hui 2026 this week 🐬 This special hui brings together iwi, community leaders, scientists, creatives, advocates and organisations working to protect taonga species and restore the health of our environment.

Great to see some of our member groups there, along with many others who are making a difference around Aotearoa 🌿

Next Friday 21 August, 9am to 4pm, we’re running the Native Plant Identification training course at Ōtanewainuku Forest.

This course is run by the well-known native plant and biodiversity specialist, Wayne O’Keefe, who is making a special trip up from the South Island.

The training will cover the fundamentals of native flora identification, plant taxonomy, scientific naming and practical field skills.
