Happy 😊 12th birthday 🎂 today Liam! Starting from scratch, Liam has been taking lessons at Taieri Drum Tuition for about a year now.

We’ve seen fantastic learning and progress from Liam. He can play many many songs on the drums 🥁 now. We’re super proud of his achievements and hunger to learn more.

Happy birthday Liam and happy drumming 😊. Rockin out to the Guns N Roses anthem, Sweet Child O Mine 🎶 where do we go now … onwards and upwards.

Right On Grayson ... A small video clip capturing 8-year-old Dunedin boy Grayson Smith playing a 12/8 time signature this week to a vintage AC/DC classic, Ride On, at our teaching studio.

Grayson is a dedicated student practicing regularly, is a joy to teach and improves every week. He has learned more songs than his age in just a matter of months.

Today, we celebrate the talented youngster as he celebrates his 9th birthday. 🎂Happy birthday and happy drumming Grayson - from the team at Taieri Drum Tuition 🥁

🥁🥁Drums should be fun! That was our theme last Sunday, February 1 when we staged our first-ever Taieri Drum Tuition Drum Fun Day at the Mosgiel Fire Station Theatre.

We enjoyed a day of drumming games, competing in the "Drum Olympics" 🥇to solving the Whitney Houston Drum Challenge (even some parents!!). We even gave the audience an unexpected Drum "Flash Mob" as part of our live finale.

We even did a wee impromptu jam of AC/DC's T'nT. We changed the chorus words for a bit of fun to add some Taieri Drum Tuition flavour:

Because we're TDT, we're dynamite
We're TDT, we're gonna drum right
We're TDT, play the power groove
We're TDT watch us improve!

Thanks to all the amazing drummers and family for supporting the event. 😊
