The Rangitīkei College Girls Hockey team had a very successful season! They started the year with several new, young players joining the team, but they adjusted well and created a strong team environment. As the season progressed, the team continued to grow in confidence and skill.

The girls built momentum with every game, improving constantly and showing their determination to succeed. They went undefeated for the entire season, reflecting the dedication shown by every player. The highlight of the season was making the final for first place, where they faced Freyberg High School, who they had narrowly beaten 1–0 at the start of the season. This time, the girls played their best game, coming away with an impressive 8–0 win to take the top spot in the division. The team also received an award for gaining the most points throughout the season!

It was great to see how much the team improved throughout the season, especially the younger players who stepped up and became important contributors to the team. The final result was a testament to the hard work, commitment, and teamwork shown by every player throughout the season.
