It has been great to see tamariki and staff wear their ie faitaga (formal wrap around), elei shirt (polynesian shirts) and puletasi (2 piece). We didnt have a pua'a (pig/pork) for breakfast today but we had Halal sausages and toast instead! Can you see the yummy mea 'ai? Nope ... cos its all gone! Happy tummies! Lovely smiles 😊🥰🤣

Te Aumangea a Hape classes working on maths whizz activities and testing.

Room 22 were inspired by the Canadian Artist Sandra Silberzweig. Mrs Taplin shared that Sandra has a condition called Synesthesia and this has a hand in her abstract works where she may hear colours, taste shapes or see written letters and numbers as specific colours. Check out their interpretation of her artwork. Tamariki used mixed medium eg dye, pastel, black vivid markers.
