sat down with a mate recently and talked a bit about what meaningful community engagement meant to us.

Truthfully that conversation pulled me right back to Nunavut and in the moment of this picture.

The knowledge of the igloo passed on by ancestors, the foundations built by Elders, parents supporting and lifting up their children as each ice block was placed.

Every aspect of whānau being included is necessary when it comes to community building. Always.
