Today, we celebrate 12 incredible years of Go Bananas Childcare — 12 years of aroha, laughter, learning, connection and belonging.
From day one, the vision of our CEO and Founder, Steven, has always been simple and heartfelt — Go Bananas Childcare is for the children. Everything we do, every decision we make and every experience we create is centred around giving our tamariki a place where they feel loved, valued, heard, respected and free to be themselves.
To celebrate this special milestone, we came together at the Sikh Temple to give thanks and seek blessings for the journey ahead. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of gratitude, connection and community.
A very special thank you to our tamariki — past and present. You are the heart of Go Bananas Childcare. Your laughter, curiosity, ideas, friendships and little everyday moments are what make our journey so meaningful. 💚
To our wonderful whānau, thank you for trusting us with what matters most to you and for walking alongside us throughout the years. To our kaiako, thank you for the love, dedication and passion you bring each day. And to our wider community, thank you for supporting, encouraging and growing with us.
What makes Go Bananas Childcare so special is the beautiful multicultural whānau we share. We are proud to celebrate the many cultures, languages, traditions and stories that come together across our centres.
From different corners of Aotearoa and around the world, we come together as one community — learning from one another, embracing our differences and creating a strong sense of belonging for every child and every whānau.
Our journey has always been about manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and ako — caring for one another, building genuine relationships and learning together. Most importantly, it has been about creating a place where every tamaiti knows, “I belong here. I am valued here. This place is for me.”
We are incredibly grateful for every child, every whānau, every kaiako and every member of our community who has been part of the Go Bananas Childcare story.
