The Jubilee Committee have been hard at work creating the programme of activities for our upcoming 155th Jubilee!

Kia ora koutou,

Many of our families will have seen our new bus signage, installed a couple of weeks ago.

Bus safety is high on our list of priorities. We have been looking at ways of making our bus more visible and raising driver awareness, encouraging drivers to slow down and drive safely while we are delivering our precious cargo to and from our kura each day.

Geraldine Signs have created and installed our new signage, and we have already noticed some differences in driver behaviour.

To help cover costs of the signage, we are looking for any family businesses with links to Woodbury School who may be willing to contribute to share costs. We would then place a company logo below the sign in recognition of your support. If this is of interest - please contact [email protected]

The Geraldine Children's Social Worker Trust (GCSWT) sources donations to help fund the Social Workers who work with the schools and ECE's in the Geraldine area.

This is a highly valuable service, which offers a range of supports to students and their families.

They are currently seeking some new trustees to help continue with the great work.

Please check the attached letter with more details, and make contact if this interests you (or, pass this on to someone who you think would be great for the role). This role does not involve much of a time commitment, but your contribution would be much appreciated.

We have a Woodbury School Jubilee meeting coming up this Wednesday 15th April, 7.00pm-8.15pm at school.

This meeting is about establishing the date and timelines, a programme of events and sub-committees for different roles.

We welcome along those who attended the previous meeting, and any others who missed the meeting but would like to be part of the planning.
