Last week, our youngest community members from Halcombe Playcentre visited the community walkway and got their hands dirty, planting trees and putting down fresh mulch 🌳
It’s looking great the little area that was planted up, with more natives that had grown from seed in our own Playcentre garden and from some trees we had earned through recycling paper during the year!
We’ll take some trips down the walkway to feed them fertiliser from our own worm farm and to continue to watch the trees grow and look after them.

Their enthusiasm for nature and the environment is truly heartwarming. Hands-on experiences like tree planting sow the seeds of curiosity, teaching them to care for nature & the importance of working together for our community. How wonderful are our little environmentalists! 💚
