We are so proud of how far the electrical industry has come in terms of attracting and supporting female electrical workers. This week Otago Polytechnic delivered a Year 2 Electrical Block Course for EarnLearn and for the first time our ākonga wāhine outnumbered our ākonga tāne! The icing on the cake was having our very own electrical lecturer Brooke Thompson delivering the training! A huge well done to the girls you have such a bright future ahead! Fantastic to be hosting the Master Electricians New Zealand Apprentice Challenge 2025 at Otago Polytechnic | Te Pūkenga this week!
