Kia Ora Playcentre whānau.

It is with great sadness I am posting today to say Peninsula Playcentre has been permanently closed forevermore. Our members would like to give a huge shout out to the Peninsula community who gave their wholehearted support in fighting to keep the centre open, it just wasnt meant to be.

But, the best news comes out of all this - Portobello Kindy have been able to take hold of the space and it will become their new permanent home 🥰 Tumeke Portobello Kindergarten 🤩🥳🎊

Kia Ora Whanau, Peninsula Playcentre has had to temporarily close its doors due to hazardous materials found during an MOE building inspection. 😭 Keep an eye out here for details as to if/when we can run sessions again 💚

Nobody is to enter the grounds fullstop.

Our centre's last day of term will be next Wednesday, 9th December.
Next year we will start back Wednesday 10th February.

Look who features in today's Star. A very positive outcome for our playcentre.

A parent team worked on our flax today and Owen learnt how to walk downhill on stilts. Peninsula Playcentre is back to business as usual yay level 1! Drop by before we close for the school holidays 😊
