It’s nearly the first week of Semester 2, which means the Department of Human Nutrition’s Taraka Kai Food Truck is back!!
We’ll be open Wednesdays throughout the semester from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at Union Lawn (outside the Central Library). We can’t wait to see you there!💛

The Food Truck is BACK next Wednesday from 11am until sold out!!
We’re so excited to see so many new faces around campus this semester! For the first 9 weeks of semester, the truck will be run by the Human Nutrition Department and then our amazing HUNT246 students will be taking over for two weeks to share their delicious creations with you.👩🍳

It’s our last day running the food trailer for the year, so we’ve brought back a favourite — the classic Mexican bowl! It was created by some of our 400-level students a few years back and heaps of people have said how much they love it.
We’ll be closed for the rest of the year, but we’ll be back next year! Thank you to everyone who visited us and has been our regulars since the start of the semester, we’ll miss you 💛
We’ll keep you updated if we end up doing any events in the second semester!!

We hope you enjoyed the menu created by the HUNT246 students over the last couple weeks, thank you for coming!! Today, we have enchiladas served with LOTS of fresh salad ☺️ next Wednesday 28th March will be the final day of the food trailer for this semester 💛

After this Wednesday, the food trailer will reopen on Monday 28th April. From then, we’ll be open most days with our students running things as part of their course. They’ve been working on menu designs for their latest assignment, and you’ll be able to see (and taste) what they’ve come up with ✨ we’re so excited and hope you’re too, see you tomorrow and see you in two weeks time for our students’ menu!! 🥰

We’ve been enjoying the nice weather, and the kitchen smells amazing as we prepare to open Taraka Kai tomorrow! We’re serving butter chicken or creamy dahl with naan bread and plenty of fresh, tasty salad! Can’t wait to share it with all of you 💛
