It was great to have volunteers from the Dannevirke Cancer Society out today to collect daffodils 🌼 🌼

They will sell these tomorrow, on daffodil Day; with the aim of injecting some much needed funds into our local branch, supporting our local community who are going through battles of their own.

Please dig deep and support this amazing cause 💛

…and who knows, you may end up with some beautiful Pukemiro Daffodils on your coffee table! 🌼 🌼

Some snippets of the last wee while in action 📸

There’s been plenty of horse work, lambing beats, pre lamb animal health, set stocking, baking, as well as our senior cadets spending time with Brent and breaking in a horse each.

They have committed many, many hours to their horse breaking exercise and it has been a very rewarding time (and still is!) for everyone involved. We thank Brent for all of his time and expertise with this.

Early lambing ewes are all but finished, and the MA girls have been set stocked over the last couple of days 🐑 🐑

Plenty happening around here! ☀️ 🌼 🌱

We are so excited to announce our 2027 intake of Cadets who will be joining us in January!

Congratulations to Alicia, Harvey & Grace - we can’t wait to have you on board!

We must also thank and congratulate every applicant that we had apply, and commend those that made it through to the interview process. The calibre of applicants was extremely high, and made our job very tough at the end of the day.

We wish all unsuccessful applicants all the best for the future, and hope to see some of you back again next year.

A bit of a chilly start for Ben & Ollie at Otawa this morning! ❄️ ❄️

☀️ Willie and our Junior Cadets have spent the week out at Otawa building a set of satellite yards while the sun shines and the mud is dry.. for now!

This will make docking and other stock work throughout the year, a little easier and more time saving.

Was great to have those that could make it from the crew that was a part of the works on our new Hub space back for morning tea yesterday.

To be able to show our appreciation for their quality workmanship, and for those that didn’t see the finished product to have a good look around.

We love our new space, and are so grateful for all these people 🤩 THANK YOU!

Applications for our 2027 intake have now closed.

We are blown away by the number of applications which we are now working through. THANK YOU to everyone who has worked so hard to put their applications together.

Just a note 🗒️ if you have not had a return email from Emma, please get in touch as we may not have recieved your application. A confirmation email was sent back to each applicant that we received an application from.
