Do you know what is the maximum distance a load may overhang your vehicle behind the rear axle? _____ metres
🚩If you're carrying something on top of your vehicle, make sure you're doing it safely. The load needs to be tied on firmly and can't touch the ground. If it extends more than 1 metre beyond the back of your vehicle, during the day you must tie on a flag that's at least 40x30cm in size - it can be a white or a fluorescent red, orange or yellow flag. At night, the flag needs to be replaced with lights.

If you must travel, please make sure you check road closures and weather updates before you head off and be alert for debris and other hazards. Remember to be patient, maintain a safe following distance and allow extra time for travel - we want everyone to arrive at their destinations safely 💛
