The Great Turkey Hunt of '26 - results

What a day for it! 30 turkeys collected by our 90 hunters over 2 rounds

One Ace down number 8 by Zac Thomson, but unfortunately he wasn't in the kitty, so we'll be playing for atleast $396 at Smallbone next month...

Turkey bounties were claimed by Magnus (3 turkeys), Shane (streak of 5 birds), Tyrone (3 turkeys), with the final bounty split by Magnus and Ben Croll (streak of 5 birds).

Congratulations to Bayley and Sam Liken Tying on -15, with Sam taking down the playoff to claim the overall win.

Christchurch Disc Golf Club invite you to head back north, to the alpine village of Hanmer Springs and the picturesque and well manicured Hanmer Springs Golf Club, for another 2 hot rounds of disc golf!

Please note that we can only get the course open to play for Sunday 8th November, so unfortunately a prior practice day will not be available. We will endeavour to have a later players meeting to allow practice before play on the sunday

A $2 ace pot is in play for those who want to buy in, and we'll start it off with anything unclaimed from the events before!

Great to watch a thrilling conclusion to the FPO card with 4 ladies all in striking distance for the last 3 holes too! Well done to Laura and Rachael tying it up on the last hole.

Firstly thanks again to Carmen for taking g point and organizing this year, and Hayden and Ewan for support.

Thanks also to our wonderful supporters NZDSS, NZ Disc Golf, Waterforce, Falcon Electroplating, and Costal Cad NZ, for helping us pull off this event, either on field or in the background. Also to Waimakariri Disc Golf for putting in a killer course that didn't need much modification to suit everyone!
