Notice is hereby given that the 92nd Annual General Meeting of the Waimairi Tennis Club Inc will be held at the Clubrooms at 49 Watford Street,
Saturday 15th August 2026 at 3.00 pm.

All those members intending to resign their membership, or to transfer to non-playing status but still retain contact with the Club through newsletters, should do so by email prior to the AGM to: [email protected]

Inviting all existing and new members to register at Waimairi Tennis Club for the upcoming season. We are a family oriented, yet competitive club offering 7 quality tennis courts in the heart of Strowan. We run social tennis, interclub, and a number of social events throughout the year. Our tables are full for this year's 2026 Waimairi Tennis Club Annual Fundraiser Quiz, but we are opening up the bidding for the Silent Auction to our wider community and anyone keen to support our Club.

We are excited to be offering a range of Silent Auction prizes as generously donated by our members, coaches and sponsors to complement this Sunday's Quiz Event.

✔️Adult Classes Term 3 – Book Now!
WTC runs Xpress and Cardio Tennis for adults on Monday evenings throughout the school term. These sessions bring together small groups of players, who are put through their paces by our senior tennis coaches.

👉Tennis Xpress focuses on technique, whilst Tennis Cardio tends to fitness. Club Members receive discounted rates too!

✔️Members are offered a discounted rate of $125 for the 8 week term. If you want to up your skills and/or fitness, consider a class for Term 3, commencing Monday 20 July.

Registrations are now open for the upcoming Hotshots and Junior Interclub Summer season at Waimairi Tennis Club.

Hotshots will commence on Saturday 10 October and Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October.

Junior Interclub training will commence in the week of Monday 12 October. Round 1 Matches will be on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October.

Subscriptions are for the two summer Terms (Term 4 2026 / Term 1 2027). The season runs through to approximately 20 March.

We will be having a Club Welcome/Open Day on Saturday 19th September to kick-off the season.

As always, your timely registration allows us to better plan our class times and sizes and have our coaching crew prepared. We appreciate prompt payment to confirm the registration for your child / children.
