Don't miss out on a great opportunity! Check out Central Otago Toastmasters midwinter hui if you're around Otago. β¨οΈππ―π
Every confident speaker started somewhere.
Nobody joins Toastmasters because they already have all the answers.
People join because they want to grow.
Some want to feel more comfortable speaking in meetings.
Some want to become better leaders.
Some simply want to express their ideas with greater confidence.
Our Mid-Winter Taster Evening is your chance to discover what that journey could look like.
Share a platter, meet inspiring local people, enjoy a relaxed evening, and experience how communication skills can be developed in a supportive community.

Happy Monday, Southern Division Toastmasters! βοΈβ¨οΈβ¨οΈ
As we jump into a fresh week of personal growth, letβs reflect on a beautiful Samoan proverb that gets to the absolute heart of true collaboration:ππ€β¨οΈ
"O le tele o sulu e maua ai figota."
(Through collaboration, the most difficult challenges can be overcome / With many torches, the fishing is successful.)
Think about a traditional night fishing trip. If you go out with just one torch, you can only see a small patch of the reef. But when a group comes together, each bringing their own light, the entire ocean lights up, and everyone succeeds!
That is exactly what Better Together / Te Kotahitanga looks like in Toastmasters. We all bring different lights to the table, some of us are great at evaluation, some are masterful storytellers, and others are brilliant at organising events. When we pool our talents and collaborate, we dispel the darkness of fear and doubt for each other.
No matter where you are in the South Island, there is a Toastmasters club ready to walk alongside you to achieve whatever goal you may have. Let's collaborate closely this week. Share your light, learn from someone else's, and let's achieve success as a team!β¨οΈπ―π
