Temporary Venue Update for Nelson Madhatters Toastmasters Club📍

​Heads up to our Nelson community! Nelson Madhatters Toastmasters Club is temporarily moving locations for two weeks on Friday 2 October and Friday 9 October.

​They will be meeting bright and early at CCS Disability Action (65 Trafalgar Street, The Wood, Nelson) from 6:45 AM – 8:30 AM. Guests are still very welcome to drop in and experience a great morning meeting no experience needed and no pressure to speak!

Happy Monday, Southern Division Toastmasters! ☀️

This week, as we celebrate Tuvalu Language Week (Vaiaso o te Gana Tuvalu), we draw inspiration from a timeless Tuvaluan proverb that speaks directly to the power of community:

"E fakamalosi te vaka i te aloalo fakatasi."
The canoe gains strength when everyone paddles together.

Stepping up to deliver a speech, evaluate a peer, or take on a leadership role can sometimes feel like rowing into open waters. But in Toastmasters, you are never paddling alone. When we sync our efforts, encourage one another, and row together, our entire club gains momentum and glides smoothly toward every goal. That is the true spirit of Better Together / Te Kotahitanga!

No matter where you are in the South Island, there is a Toastmasters club ready to walk alongside you to achieve whatever goal you may have.
