Tuesday morning raranga is back on this Tuesday 4th of August!
Our Tuesday morning community raranga sessions were put on hold for a while, but they are starting up again next week.
If you are looking for a space to come and continue to work on your projects, start a new one, or to learn how to start your journey with weaving, then this is the space for you.
Time: 10am-1pm
Where: Te Awa Whiria at the Climate Action Campus, Ōtautahi
Cost: Koha
Please bring your own weaving projects or harakeke. If you are new to weaving, and have never harvested harakeke, please let us know by Monday so we can provide some for you.

E rere ana āku mihi o te tau hou Pākehā e kare mā!
I don't know about all of you, but the end of January is sneaking up on me fast!
For those that have missed the email (or not on the email lists), registration for our community classes, Te Whakatō o te reo (Advanced Beginners), and Te Whakatupu o te reo (Intermediate) are now open.
Registration for Ngā Kākano o te reo - Beginners te reo will be posted in a couple of days, so keep an eye out for that.

Ngā Kākano o te reo – 20 week beginners
This is held on Tuesday evenings 6-8pm, at the Phillipstown Hub and cost is koha. Link to be posted soon.

Te Whakatō o te reo – 40 weeks advanced beginners
https://forms.gle/QSDarm5uA8sZLFoF7
This is held on Thursday evenings 6-8pm, at Te Awa Whiria $25 per evening or $200 per school term.

Te Whakatupu o te reo – 40 weeks intermediate
https://forms.gle/ym4KM7rqYJhcNXY98
This is held on Wednesday evenings 6-8pm, at Te Awa Whiria $25 per evening or $200 per school term.

Please reach out if cost is a barrier as I do not want this to be the case for whānau Māori in reconnecting with our reo.
If you would like early registration access to our July intake for our beginners course, please let us know.

This year, we will also be running weekly raranga sessions during the day! We are just finalising details for that, so watch this space.
