⭐ 🎶 Dance Show - Friday 🎶 ⭐

We're looking forward to sharing our dances with you! We have all been busy learning dance routines with Jari from Dance Curriculum Australia & New Zealand, and we will be performing them on Friday morning this week. Please be seated on the courts at 9am, ready for a 9:15am start.

⭐ ⭐ 3 Way Student Conferences ⭐ ⭐

Bookings are now open on the Hero App for our upcoming 3 Way Student Conferences - Tuesday 25th August and Thursday 27th August.
This is a really important opportunity to meet together with your child and their teacher.

If you need help with booking a time please contact the office, or email Aimee at [email protected]

Please note: While some conferences will start at 2:00pm, the children will remain at school until 3:00pm.

⭐ 🥳 New Entrants For 2027 🥳 ⭐

We are wanting to know of any children who are turning 5 and joining our school community next year that we are not yet aware of.

If you have a child who is a pre-school sibling who you think may not already be on our records, or if you know of a friend or neighbour who has pre-school children that they intend to start with us soon, please contact Jill and Ellie in the office to let us know.

This will also enable us to contact you to invite you to our afternoon Preschool Programme.

🌳 🌿 Snowden's Bush Tree Planting - Thursday 18th June 🌿 🌳

A big thank you to all of those family members who have let us know that they can help out on Thursday when we go tree planting at Snowden's Bush.
If you are able to walk down with us and help out, please let your child's teacher know.

Due to a number of other events happening at school on this day, we have had to alter the timetable from the original notice that went home - The Wairoa and Waimea Teams have swapped their times.

The Brightwater School Board of Trustees have made the decision to close the school today - this is due to several road closures, meaning that we can't staff the school safely. Several of our families impacted and the buses can't run.

I will keep you posted during the day as to where things are at.

In the meantime - please stay dry, stay safe and let me know if you need anything.

🎉 Four Square Grocery Grab Raffle 🎉

Thank you to Anna and Nathan Hay at the Brightwater Four Square for their generous support and to everyone who sold and purchased tickets.

Thanks to the amazing community support we have raised $10,600.00 which will go towards supporting education outside the classroom experiences for our students.

The prize draw winners are as follows - drawn by Darren Bryce our local policeman:
