Whether you're a parent wanting to help your child's team, a current coach looking to build your confidence, a senior student helping with a school team, or someone keen to give back to our junior players, this is the perfect place to start.

Our South Otago Foundation Coaching Course is designed to provide practical skills, fun coaching ideas, and the confidence to create a positive experience for every player—no matter your previous coaching experience.

⭐ We're aiming to have at least one representative from every school attend, so we encourage each school community to send along a coach, parent, teacher, senior student, or volunteer. The more knowledge we can share across our schools, the stronger our junior competition will be.

Here’s something for your kids to do to build up their stamina for Cross Country in a couple of weeks.

Get ready to run! Primary school cross country sessions begin tomorrow Wednesday 22 July, 4:30pm-5:15pm at the South Otago Motorcycle Track, Glasgow Street Balclutha.

All tamariki are welcome, come along, have some fun, and build your cross country skills! and confidence. On every Wednesday through to early September.

We are so very proud of all our students who performed at Puaka Matariki Iwikatea (Balclutha). A huge thank you to Matua Timikuka, Mrs Grant and all our staff for your hard work teaching and preparing our students. But the 'STARS' of the performance are our fabulous students, well done! Special mention to our year 8 leaders Tema and Miles for their leadership roles. A huge thank you to the organising committee, the presenters and Sport Otago from the staff and students at Warepa School. Enjoy the images from our day, such a brilliant day!

Teacher Aide - Fixed Term, Term Time Position.

We are looking to employ a Teacher’s Aide to support a student for 6 hours per week. There may be an opportunity for more hours if funding is successful. Some support will be provided for travel.
This is a fixed term, term time position, beginning as soon as possible.
The hours of work will be 10am - 12.20pm, three days per week. The start date will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

We seek a professional, positive, collaborative, teacher’s aide to join our teaching team. The successful applicant will need to be child-focused, supportive and energetic, have a sense of humour and sound literacy and mathematical skills.

The successful applicant must be passionate about learning and have a willingness to add value to our already vibrant learning community and successful school. We have a supportive Staff and Board; onsite training and professional development will be offered to the successful applicant. Remuneration will be based on experience and the job criteria.

Tomorrow we will be recognising 'Pink Shirt Day'.

It is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness.

We would love our children to wear something pink if possible and bring a gold coin donation which will be donated to the NZ Mental Health Foundation.
