⛳ THE $1,000 HOLE-IN-ONE CHALLENGE! ⛳

We’re pretty excited about this one! Hundreds of numbered golf balls, one race down the Romahapa School driveway, one hole… and $1,000 CASH up for grabs! 💰

Golf balls are $20 each, with all funds raised going directly towards creating opportunities for our students beyond the classroom.

Kia ora e te whānau,
I hope you are all keeping safe and sheltered. Due to uncertainty around road conditions and power supply, and the need to assess any damage or potential safety hazards on the school grounds after these winds, the school will be closed tomorrow.

A wonderful, wholesome day was had yesterday at Olivia and Steve’s, Totara Hills.

Exploring water quality, discovering critters, planting trees, and eeling were all part of the fun — plus a game of woolshed tag!

A huge thank you to Olivia & Steve, Craig from Otago South River Care, Scott from Enviroschools, and our amazing parent helpers.

It was just one of those magical days! ✨

What a wonderful afternoon we have all had at our Romahapa School Market Day! Big thanks to all those that supported us. It was great to have so many whānau and community members join us for the fun.
We are all feeling mighty proud of our students who did an outstanding job of their stalls and activities. Just amazing!
We are very blessed 🥰

A reminder that we are holding our Market Day tomorrow from 1pm. We invite family and friends to join us for this special afternoon. We are excited to share with you all the wonderful products the children have designed, made and marketed. Product prices range from 50c to $40, with some real treasures up for grabs! Up for auction will be our very first dozen of school 'Hēki Hens' eggs. Free range farmed by free range.
Bay and Hew will be on the BBQ for lunch. Burgers $5. Sausages $2.

We had a stunning day yesterday on our hikoi from Measly Beach to Kākā Point. It was an honour to have Ruth Baldwin with us, sharing stories and insights from her ancestors' past. The journey brought about beautiful connections, leaving us all with a sense of gratitude.
