Free Playgroup this morning at 10am at the Takaanini library 💚
We were rockin' out today at The Wildlings Early Years Montessori as we dove a little deeper🤿 into our study of Rūaumoko, the Atua of volcanoes and earthquakes as we compared the different types of rocks which come from Rūaumoko 🌋interacting with Papatūānuku 🌏 or Tangaroa🌊.
Not your typical looking Montessori classroom but genuine Montessori land and water materials to help tamariki get a hands-on way to discriminate our personal rock collection 🪨💎🔮
Things got a little heated today at the free Mindful Movement for Mana Playgroup today as we learnt about fire safety and how to stay safe in a fire 🔥.

Our cuzzies over in America just celebrated Fire Safety Week and so shall we.
I wonder who will come along on Thursday at 10am at the Takaanini library for our free Playgroup
Kia orana and a massive thankyou to the wonderful Covenant Kids for bringing out the rainbows to help us celebrate Cook Island language week. We had a wonderful morning learning some new words and forming new friendships.
Mamas please feel free to mention any other Playgroup/playcentre or anywhere other like minded mamas can take their pepi for socializing and learning together 👇

We got a little old school at The Wildlings Early Years Montessori by busting out the old lycra to see how we could make mountains and volcanoes just like Rūaumoko; kaitiaki of our volcanoes and earthquakes 🌋.
