Certain sand products sold in NZ have been found to contain asbestos (tremolite). If you have any of the following STOP using it NOW:
• Educational Colours Rainbow Sand (1.3kg)
• Creatistics Coloured Sand (1kg)
• Kmart NZ – 14-piece Sandcastle Building Set (Batch # 42975724)
• Kmart NZ – Blue Magic Sand (Batch # 42304364)
• Kmart NZ – Green Magic Sand (Batch # 432919650)
• Kmart NZ – Pink Magic Sand (Batch # 42304371)

✅ Place the sand in a sealed container, double-bag it, label it “Asbestos-Contaminated Material”.
✅ Do NOT sweep or vacuum any spilled sand.
✅ Contact your local council for safe disposal & request a refund from the retailer.

We are doing a full check in our service and will keep families updated – please check your home too and act now.
