New to the Meadow, Fisher-Price Zebra Walker 🦓

H E L P! 🆘 Our amazing volunteer committee could use a few more helping hands! If the roles below sound like a good fit for you, we would love to hear from you. If you have other skills to offer, we would also love to hear from you.
We don’t think the time commitment is huge – just a little help can go a long way. Most importantly, we need more friendly faces to help keep our toy library running smoothly for the little ones in and around Meadowbank.

✅ Fundraising Superstar – are you someone who thrives on looking for new opportunities? We are looking for new funding streams, are you the person to help? Could be corporate sponsorship through to sales of chocolate fish.

✅ Toy Wrangler – do you enjoy decluttering? Work with our duty members and help keep our toy cage in control. Work with our Toy Librarian and Toy Chest Treasurer with missing parts, broken toys, replacement labels and toy storage.

New to the Meadow this week... Le Toy Van Petilou Ride On Deer!

This cute as a button ride on has a sturdy wooden structure and storage pocket to carry treasures around. A great way for little ones to get exercise at the same time as having fun. Learning how to push themselves along helps them develop strength, balance and coordination that they'll need for walking, running and cycling. Indoor use only.

Reminder - our AGM is tonight and we will close slightly earlier than normal. Will we see you at our AGM? 😊

We would like to invite you to attend our AGM on Tuesday 10 March, 8pm at the Toy Library (please note the library will close at 7.50pm that night to allow us time to put away toys away and be ready to start the AGM at 8pm).

We are really keen to have new faces on our Committee (Committee benefits include exemption from paying membership fees). The time commitment is not significant and our volunteer Committee is very relaxed and friendly.

Come along to the AGM (no pressure to join the Committee at all) to meet us. If you can't make the AGM but would like to join the Committee, please send us a DM or email or chat to Dean when you are next in the library.

Our first new toy for 2026!! Little Tikes Play Kitchen will be making it's way into the meadow very soon.

Children will have great roleplay fun with this corner design play kitchen. Complete with an oven, sink, fridge, countertop, and lots of accessories, this is the perfect kitchen for any aspiring Chef. Play accessories include a saucepan; plates and food; realistic kitchen appliances; faux-granite countertop and towel bar with a real towel. Suitable for ages 3 & up.
