Our Bellbird babies are enjoying fun water play that keeps their bodies active and their hearts strong. Healthy movement, happy hearts, and lots of smiles every day. 💙

In the Bellbird room, our babies have been enjoying a range of healthy heart activities that keep their bodies active and their hearts strong. Water play turned into fun “swimming” movements, where tamariki splashed and kicked their legs with excitement. They also enjoyed rolling tyres across the ground, jumping from one hula hoop to another, and climbing on the obstacle course. These activities supported their physical development, coordination, and confidence while encouraging active play and joyful movement throughout the day. This aligns with Kōwhai Whakapapa – Wellbeing, where tamariki are supported to develop physical confidence, experience active movement, and build healthy habits for a strong heart and body.
