Some of the things I've been making lately... prepping for a stall at the Eden Gardens Tulip Festival this weekend.

Sometimes you gotta have faith that the weird reddish brown colour you're putting on will turn out this lovely green...

On the subject of clay, here's how it can change...
First picture shows dried, unfired greenware at the bottom with an initial bisque firing at the top. Second picture shows how the clay changes again to a rich reddish brown at the higher Cone 6 firing and how that warm undertone deepens the green in glazes.

Some interesting clays in the mix of pieces going in the kiln... they look very different now but should fire to a lovely warm brown...
