"A follow-up to my last post — I also made a 2-digit subtraction workbook! 🎉

This one's a bit different from the usual worksheets, though.

Most subtraction drills just give kids problems that always need borrowing — but on real tests, kids first have to figure out WHETHER a problem needs regrouping at all. So this one is built to teach that judgment, not just the mechanics: it walks through No Regrouping → With Regrouping (with guided visual examples) → Mixed Review, where some problems need regrouping and some don't.

If your child already worked through the 3-digit version, this is a great one to pair with it for younger kids or extra practice at an easier level 💛

📚I made a 3-digit subtraction workbook (with regrouping), but instead of just piling on problems, I focused on helping kids actually understand why the steps work.

Every new concept starts with a friendly guided example walking through it, before kids try it on their own.
