At our centre, we celebrate and hold a special graduation for each of our tamariki before they move on to primary school. 🎓 This is a meaningful way for us to recognise their learning, growth, and the wonderful journey they had with us. We love sharing these happy moments together, and it always brings us so much joy to celebrate their achievements.

Our tamariki had an amazing time immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of the Cook Islands! 🏝✨
They explored hands-on activities such as:
🌸 Creating beautiful necklaces
👗 Designing colourful Cook Islands skirts
🌼 Making traditional headbands
🎨 Tivaevae cloth sponge painting
🎶 Learning Cook Islands songs
🗣 Discovering new Cook Islands words

It was a joyful week filled with creativity, laughter, music, and learning. 💛

Today, our centre was filled with excitement as Old McDonald’s farm animals came for a visit! 🐴🐐🐑🐖🐓 The tamariki were so happy to see and meet the friendly pony, goats, sheep, pig, rat, and chickens. They enjoyed patting the animals, watching them up close, and even riding on the pony. It was such a fun and memorable day for everyone!

Today, our tamariki and kaiako came together to celebrate Pink Day – a day of spreading kindness, standing up to bullying, and showing that we care 💕✨

At Creative Garden, we believe play is the heart of learning! 💚 During play, our tamariki (children) are exploring, discovering, and growing in confidence every day. Whether they are building towers, dressing up, or creating art, they are also building important life skills like problem-solving, social interactions, and creativity.

I te wā e tākaro ana ngā tamariki, ka ako rātou i ngā pūkenga mō te ao. Ka whakakotahi rātou, ka kōrero tahi, ka ako tahi hoki. Ka tipu te māia, te auahatanga me te whakaaro rangatira. 🌈

Our Christmas celebration was full of excitement and joy, with the highlight being the bouncy castle! The tamariki had a fantastic time jumping, laughing, and playing together, enjoying the foods and receiving presents from Santa himself. It was heartwarming to see their energy and happiness while making the most of this special day. Celebrating together makes every moment extra meaningful!

Our tamariki visited Cristina’s Rest Home to spread some holiday cheer and celebrate the spirit of giving. The room came alive with smiles as the tamariki shared heartfelt moments with the residents. Bringing along cupcakes and carefully chosen Christmas presents, the children displayed the values of kindness and community. The elders, in return, shared their warmth and wisdom, making the visit a meaningful experience. It was a day of connection, culture, and holiday joy that left everyone with hearts full of gratitude.
