September is shaping up to be a month for curious minds. 🌏
From Irish history and the story of jazz in New Zealand, to space technology, elite equine performance, staying independent as we age, and the journey from Hawke’s Bay to the global media stage, there’s plenty to get you thinking.
But Love Heart is about more than the subject on the programme.
It’s about being in the room with people who know their field deeply, having the chance to ask questions, share ideas and experiences, and meeting others who are just as curious as you are.
Different topics. Brilliant experts. Plenty to talk about.
What would you love to learn about this September?

At Love Heart, we don’t think learning is just sitting quietly and collecting information. It’s about the questions that come up, the ideas you hadn’t considered, and the people who make you see something differently.
That’s why we believe learning is better when shared.
Don’t just learn something. Learn something with someone. 🧡🩷
A fantastic day Hawkes Bay Fish and Game this week for our Korua (fresh water crays), Tuna (eels) and a wonderful guided tour through the wetlands. Davey was passionate and knowledgeable and the perfect expert speaker for our learners.

There’s something lovely about learning that stays with you, not just because of what you learn, but because of the people you meet along the way.
Jo Morgan put it beautifully: our sessions have been “interesting and invigorating”, and the conversations and stories shared along the way have been just as valuable.
We love that.
Because staying curious, meeting new people and keeping up with the world around us doesn’t have an age limit.
And we’ll take Jo’s version of growing older - “spunky and up to date” - any day. 💛
