Dear APS community, we would love to invite you to our open afternoon on Thursday the 14th of May.
We have finally completed our building journey and we want to share it with our wider school community.
We are incredibly proud of the way we have persevered throughout the last few years. We were told more than once that our planned buildings wouldn't go ahead but we were passionate about our vision and we had an amazing team behind us.
We would love it if you could come to our open afternoon. Our wonderful Year 7/8 leaders will give you a guided tour of our school, its unique buildings and its outdoor environment.
We hope you can make it.
Aroha nui, Fi Mackley and the APS kaimahi (staff) and ākonga (students).

Meal Train for a Much-Loved APS Family 🤍
As a school community, we are coming together to support Mark and Carolin and their two young children, including their eldest who attends Alexandra Primary School.
Carolin is bravely fighting cancer and is currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy infusions. During this time, Mark has stepped away from work to be at home caring for Carolin and their children as they navigate this incredibly challenging season.
The PTA has created a meal train to help lighten the daily load for their family. Whether it’s providing a family dinner, some baking for lunchboxes, or a simple ready-to-heat meal, every contribution will help ease the pressure and allow them to focus on what matters most — being together and supporting Carolin through her treatment.
If you’re able to help, please select a date via the meal train link. When choosing meals, kindly refer to the family’s food preferences and the drop-off details provided.
Thank you for wrapping this beautiful family in love and practical support during this time 🤍
