The Faculty of Development Studies and Applied Sciences at Lumbini Buddhist University successfully conducted the Validation Seminar–2026 for the proposed Master’s in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Engineering, Operations & Management under the theme Program Validation Review — Academic Standards & Curriculum Assessment.

Aerospace specialists, drone experts, engineering students, and faculty members reviewed curriculum standards, innovation components, and regulatory frameworks including guidelines of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and international standards of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The seminar concluded with strong encouragement to launch the program, highlighting innovation, regulatory literacy, and global competitiveness as key strengths. 🚁✨

Chinese Calligraphy (书法) Class at Lumbini Buddhist University

Students of the Bachelor in Buddhism and Social Work program at Pugatabhumi, Lumbini Buddhist University (DEDP class point, Bhairahawa) had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a Chinese calligraphy workshop led by Professor Huang Hànchāng from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan (國立陽明交通大學 – NYCU).

We were also honored by the special presence of Ms. Li Lin Hui (李玲惠), Principal of Tzu Chi Elementary School, Taiwan (慈濟小學), whose visit added great inspiration to the session.
