π The Innovation Club of Motherland β Research & Presentation Department
has successfully completed the Research Workshop Webinar 2025 β and this has officially become the best webinar in the history of ICM! π
With more than 90 participants ,the energy, excitement, and interaction were on a whole new level. The questions asked to our guest were incredible β insightful, bold, and truly research-oriented.
What inspired us the most was the participation of students from Grade 9 and 10.
Despite being from lower grades, their confidence, curiosity, and courage to ask deep scientific questions were truly impressive. β
They didnβt hesitate β they asked doubts, shared ideas, and made the session powerful.
A huge thank you to our guest speaker, Dinesh Shrestha Dai, Research Technician at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Shriners Childrenβs Boston, for giving us more than 2 hours of rich knowledge, motivation, and real research experience. ππ₯
Your guidance has opened new doors for our students.
One of the highlights of the event was the Kahoot game, which brought a whole new level of fun and enthusiasm to the audience. The competitive spirit, excitement, and laughter made the session unforgettable.
This webinar was not just a program β
it was a movement of young minds stepping into the world of research.
Thank you to everyone who joined, asked questions, and made this event a grand success. πβ€οΈ
More exciting programs coming soon! Stay connected with ICM β¨

IACC EXAM: COMPLETE! β
π
Today, our students completed the final examination of the Interesting Astronomy Concepts Course (IACC) β the first structured astronomy program of its kind at Motherland!
Over four incredible days, students explored:
π Gravitation & Orbital Mechanics
π Celestial Sphere & Coordinate Systems
π Black Holes & Universal Expansion
π Kepler's Laws & Stellar Properties
π Eclipses, HR Diagrams & More!
What they accomplished:
β
4 intensive days of learning
β
Sessions with experts from NASO (Nepal Astronomical Society), NASO Alumni, and Guest speakers from Srilanka and Bangladesh
β
Mastered the foundational concepts of Astronomy and Astrophysics
β
Completed an olympiad-level examination
A huge thank you to:
β¨ Our dedicated mentors and instructors
β¨ Our international guest speakers from Sri Lanka π±π° and Bangladesh π§π©
β¨ Every student who showed up with curiosity and commitment
We're incredibly proud of every student who participated in this groundbreaking program.

Day 4 of IACC just wrapped up! π
IACC (Interesting Astronomy Concepts Course) is a 4-day program where students get to explore the field of astronomy and astrophysics.π
Today marked the final day of sessions, and what a way to end it! We covered a packed schedule with some of the most fascinating topics in astronomy:
HR Diagram, Hand Sky Measurements, Zodiac, Sky Charts, Length Measurements in Space, Bayer's Designation & More
Mr. Shashwot Regmi took students through multiple concepts, giving them practical tools to understand and measure the cosmos.β¨οΈ
Hubble's Lawπ
Mr. Abhinav Parajuli explained how the universe is expanding and how we measure it.
Barycenter and Roche Limit πͺ
Mr. Nischal Sunar dove into gravitational dynamics and the limits of celestial bodies.
Olympiad Awareness π¬
Ms. Astha Pandit shared insights into astronomy olympiads and how students can take their passion further.
Kepler's Laws of Planetary Motion π
Ms. Ankita Bhattarai wrapped up the sessions with the fundamental laws that govern planetary motion.
The energy, the questions, the curiosity was all at its PEAK today!
This marks the end of the IACC course sessions. The exam will be conducted next Sunday on Mangsir 1 to test everything our students have learned over these four incredible days.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible β€οΈ our mentors, guest speakers, and most importantly, our amazing students!

Day 3 of IACC just wrapped up! π
IACC (Interesting Astronomy Concepts Course) is a 4-day program where students get to explore the field of astronomy and astrophysics.
Today we had two incredible sessions with our international guest speakers:
Session 1: EM Spectrum, DopPrithiviraj, Redshift & Expansion Proof
Mr. Julian Samuel Anthony Prithiviraj joined us all the way from Sri Lanka π±π° to guide students through the electromagnetic spectrum, Doppler effect, and how redshift proves the universe is expanding.
Session 2: Magnitude and Luminosity of Stars
Mr. Farhan Sajid from Bangladesh π§π© took us through stellar magnitude and luminosity β helping students understand how we measure the brightness of stars. The discussions were absolutely engaging!
Having guest speakers from across South Asia made this day extra special. The questions, the energy, the curiosity β everything was on point!
One more day to go! π
