The Central Campus of Lumbini Buddhist University is set to organize an International Seminar on “Education, Literature, Society and Culture: Challenges, Opportunities and Possibilities” on 15–16 June 2026.

The seminar is being held in collaboration with Lal Bahadur Shastri Smarak P.G. College and Kalindi Prakashan Group.

(ख) यस अवधिमा सार्वजनिक बिदा बाहेकका दिनहरूमा क्याम्पसका प्रशासनिक कार्यहरू यथावत सञ्चालन हुनेछन् ।
(ग) मिति २०८३।०३।१८ गते बिहिबारदेखि नियमित कक्षाहरू सञ्चालन हुनेछन् ।

The Central Campus of Lumbini Buddhist University officially announcs the call for research articles for the inaugural volume of Navārambhaḥ, a new peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing scholarly discourse in Philosophy, Theology, Buddhist Studies, Ethics, and interdisciplinary humanities research.

The journal aims to provide a rigorous academic platform for researchers, scholars, and academicians to contribute original and unpublished works that foster intellectual engagement and critical inquiry. Volume 1 (2026) invites submissions in areas including Buddhist Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies, Applied Philosophy and Ethics, and interdisciplinary studies connecting philosophy with culture, literature, history, and sociology.

The visit marks a significant step forward in deepening academic and cultural collaboration between the two prominent Buddhist institutions.

Vice Chancellor Manik Ratna Shakya welcomed Professor Lee Kwan to the sacred land of Lumbini, describing Dongguk University as a leading institution in Korea. He emphasized the profound role of the Korean language in Buddhist scholarship, noting that numerous vital Tripitaka texts have been preserved and studied within Korean traditions. Vice Chancellor Shakya expressed high optimism that Professor Lee’s visit would serve as a vital bridge to cultivate a model partnership centered on academic excellence and Buddhist scholarship.
