IMS Kindergarten

Our little Kindergarteners from Pre-I & Pre-II had an exciting and meaningful visit to the Fire Station and nearby traffic signal as part of their theme on Transportation and Community Helpers.

At the fire station, they observed how firefighters carry out their duties and learned about the important role a fire station plays in keeping the community safe. The professionals generously shared their knowledge, helping the children understand fire safety in a simple and engaging way.

The children also interacted with a traffic police officer who guided them on basic road safety rules. They carefully crossed the road when the pedestrian light turned green, putting their learning into practice.

They concluded this meaningful experience with a colorful follow-up activity in class, reinforcing their understanding of the theme through creative expression.

Christmas joy at Kindergarten 🎄🎅
Big smiles and happy hearts as our little ones celebrated with Santa face gifts, lovely presents to take home, and festive Christmas tree face painting 🎨🌲.
This celebration was part of our cultural learning at preschool. Just like other festivals we celebrate, Christmas was another joyful way for children to learn, share, and respect different traditions ✨😊

We successfully conducted the IMS Kindergarten Parenting Session 2082. The session offered a valuable space to understand early childhood development, child psychology, their needs, positive parenting, emotional growth, effective caregiving and practical ways to support learning at home. The warm participation of our parents made the program truly meaningful, and we deeply appreciate your presence.

Parents also had the opportunity to vote for the Handwriting and Art Competition from classes PG to Pre-II.

Our little learners had an exciting visit to Glow Skin and Dental Clinic, where they learned the importance of oral hygiene in a fun and engaging way! 🦷✨
Each child got their teeth checked and received helpful tips from the dentists. We’re thankful to the wonderful team for guiding our children toward healthy teeth and bright smiles! 😊💙

Watching animals in their natural habitat is a rare experience, and our little kindergarteners got the opportunity to visit the local zoo and observe a variety of animals all under one roof. They were thrilled to see the animals up close and watch them eat. Despite the usual zoo crowd, the children had a joyful and memorable experience. Such outings teach them to move together as a group, stay close to their elders, and learn beyond the classroom through real-world exposure. 🐾🦓🦁🐒🦜

Our little sunshines ☀️ celebrated an early Tihar festival with their friends and teachers. The girls gave a lovely dance performance on Bhaileni 💃, while the boys sang their hearts out with the Deusi song 🎶. They shared a delicious meal 🍱 and enjoyed the day together.

Celebrations like these play an important role in Early Childhood Development (ECD). They help children connect with their culture 🌸, build social and emotional skills, and learn the values of sharing, teamwork, and respect for traditions. It was a wonderful way for them to understand the five-day Tihar festival celebrated by the Nepali community around the world.
