• Develop an understanding of rural, urban context, local, regional and global context
• Build skills critically about the core elements of substantive issues in community development
• Enable students to work with development; government policies and programs and its
Implementation and analysis of its loop holes and skills to develop macro-micro linkages
• Generate skills in communication; working with individuals, families and groups; community

Kathmandu University, School of Arts is launching a new undergraduate programme from August 2012. It is a four year programme which aims at imparting knowledge on community development and also provides opportunity to put knowledge into practice.
