LNC was established in 1959 and operated under Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine. Since 2016, it has come under Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS). Lalitpur Nursing Campus (LNC) was established in 1959 by United Mission to Nepal (UMN). LNC was a constituent campus of TU IOM until 2015. Since 2016, it has come under Patan Academy of Health Sciences. The campus celebrated its Golden Jubilee in early 2009. LNC was started initially with Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) program and now has expanded to different faculty i.e. Bachelor in Nursing Science (BNS), Generic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B. Nursing), Bachelors in Midwifery Science (BMS) and Masters of Nursing (MN) Programs. Since the implementation of Medical Education Act, 2075, the PCL Nursing program has been phased out from the campus since 2020. Educational Program Offered

2. Bachelors in Nursing Science (BNS): Three-year program. 40 students (Major
electives: Adult Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Pediatric
Nursing, Maternity and Gynecological Nursing, Critical Care Nursing and
Emergency Nursing). New session starts in Mangsir/November.
3. Bachelors in Midwifery Science (BMS): Three-year program. 20 students intake
yearly. New session starts in Mangsir/November.
4. Masters in Nursing (MN): Two-year program. 32 students intake yearly. (Major electives: Women's Health Nursing-8, Medical Surgical Nursing-8, Child
Health Nursing-6, Community Health Nursing-4, Psychiatric Nursing - 6).
