Nepal Institute of Management and Science (NIMS), an institutuion
located at Lagankhel, has passed several successful years by offering
absolute academic environment to the students for their overall
personality development and growth. NIMS has set up a platform in
which students can make their access to all the opportunities available
for learning the things through experience, participation, gro
up-work
and self-discovery approach under the guidance of the teachers. As a
result, we have become successful in bringing out excellent result (more
than 90%) in the board examinations in the past years. This basically
discourages the blind adherence to rote learning based completely on
text books prescribed so far. Today’s education should enable the students
to tackle the tremedous challenge brought forth by the advancement
taken place in this twentyfi rst century. So, ours is the modest attempt to
instill in them the competence, spirit of service, determination, feeling
of devotion and dedication, responsibility towards the self, others and
the nation together with the textual knowledge. Socialization as well as
enculturation of them is also our chief aim, which, of course, leads them
to becoming perfect human beings. Even the location is
commutable from any part of the valley. Our student-oriented ideology
