Press Release from UNESCO Office in Kathmandu regarding improper rebuilding of Rani Pokhari.

Such practice raises serious questions on the creditability of future heritage rebuilding in the Kathmandu Valley, including major sites such as Kasthamandap and Majudega of the Hanumandhoka Durbar Square Monument zone.

"Helplessly watching use of government offices, authority, money illegally destroying heritage in the name of reconstruction using concrete!" - Prof. Sudarshan Raj Tiwari.

It's time that architecture society must stand against these types of mundane activities.
